I recently started taking zinc and copper and I've noticed that I've got my morning erections back.

This hasn't happened to me consistently since before Finasteride.

Can anyone enlighten me on what this could mean? Am I heading in the right direction?

I also noticed my voice is a bit lower. I feel like there is more testosterone in my system, but libido is still zero and erection quality is also not very good.

Morning erections and nocturnals though are pretty damn good.

It's also only been a month since I started the zinc and copper and morning wood started about 5 days ago. I've had it 3 out of 5 days now.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Well Zinc can act as an AI so maybe you had elevated E2?

That's exactly what I'm thinking too JNH..

Possibly due to a straight out zinc deficiency and as an extension copper toxicity.

But yea, the nuts and bolts of it I think is too much estrogen..

I am hoping my libido is not far off.

75mg zinc and 4mg copper per day.

Mainly I just want to find out what the significance of the morning wood is with regard to a possible recovery of libido.

All of use men that live in the USA need Zinc and when you supplement Zinc it can lower your Copper levels. So for every 50 mgs of Zinc you take take 2 mgs of Copper at a diff. time of the day. I do my Zinc with ZMA and take this at bed time it helps with restless legs. I take my Copper at noon.

The Zinc can lower your Estradiol levels and this will bring back Rem Sleep Wood this kind of wood is your bodys way of keeping your pluming healthy keeping the pipes cleaned out. The longer you can keep getting RSW the healther your penis will get. As for libido this takes time to come back and us men that have has ED find it hard to keep it up for sex.

The worry of it working kills it so get on some Cialis 5 mgs / day take this every any sides are gone in a few days much better then Viagra. If I take Viagra it makes me feel so sick I can't have sex nothing like having good wood and feeling to sick to use it.

Get your Estradiol tested when men get RSW back there Estradiol is low enough or what I call the sweet spot. I started on TRT 31 yrs ago now 69 when I hit my 50's I got some bad ED problems and could not reach an orgasm I had not had RSW in over 20 yrs. Checking my Estradiol E2 and getting it down fixed so many problems I had we could not believe it. I has ED, could not reach an orgasm with out a lot of work, Rash's, Flashing, Anxiety, Prostate Problems and Panic Attacks.

Today I take meds to keep my Estradiol levels in the sweet spot by keeping track of my RSW as long as I have it I know my levels are good.

If I wake up thinking I did not have RSW last night I will see if I can get it up normal and check to see it is good and hard. If not and nothing happens like it's dead I know I went to low. So I just stop taking my Estradiol meds and when my RSW comes back I go back on the med but take less of it and you need to go back on the med the day you get RSW back.

Or your Estradiol can rebound on you and you end up to high. If I can get it up but it takes longer and it's not good enough for sex I know my levels are going up and I will take an extra dose that day.

Your voice does not change once you are finished growing.

    Sure?

I'm pretty sure mine is lower when my T is high, but it's not a permanent change.

Many people draw blood and check their E2.

Not prefect, but most correlate their erection status, specially nightly, with some E2 level.

Morning wood doesn't mean much of anything.

It does change. Not permanently, as in there are no structural changes to your vocal chords once they reach their final stage of maturation, but it fluctuates very much depending on your hormones and other variables. I'm a classically trained bass-baritone, and I have a deep voice naturally. For some weird reason, just as you described, my voice actually gets higher and stuffier when I'm on big doses of T; it loses the deep bass reverberance and turns into a clogged-up midrange baritone (I get the same effect after inhaling too much dust when cleaning, or when straining too hard during a workout). It's probably the excess alpha-adrenergic stimulation from the high T levels that causes the vocal chords to tighten up. Now that I quit TRT, my vocal chords have relaxed noticeably and my voice rumbles in almost infernal depths, especially in the morning.

    Interesting, Sargovar!

I had to edit my post, since it was supposed to say, "lower" when on TRT.

    :)

My voice absolutely gets deeper when I'm on TRT.

Likewise it was very high pitched for a good few months after quoting finasteride probably due to high estrogen.

Since I've been getting morning wood it's gone very deep again.

Ah, I see  Paradoxically enough it is just the opposite in my case: high T levels tighten up my vocal chords, while midrange or low-normal levels make them relaxed and hence deepen my voice. I've yet to experience castrate-low levels so I don't know how that would affect my voice.
